Below are some of the testimonials from our satisfied customers.

I just wanted to thank you for providing your bus for our day. Jim, Jimbo, Dr. Jim or DJ was great. We had such a wonderful time on Saturday. The bus was perfect to fit our munchies and coolers and was roomy enough for everyone. I would highly recommend, (already have) backroad tours to anyone who is listening. I picked up a brochure at the hotel before we left so I have that too. What a great idea you have come up with. Not only did you provide us with transportation, bus recommended a hotel nearby that was perfect for us. Thanks again and you will be hearing from us again in the future.

Hi Kelly,
Just wanted to say my friend and I really enjoyed our fall foliage backroads tour back in October. It was the last day of our trip and it was the highlight of our trip. We would not have been able to see Rutland had we not taken your tour. We enjoyed it very much. Kelly, you rock!

Hi Kelly,
I know we're a little late in thanking you for a most fantastic tour of the Vermont back roads around the Rutland area. We're so glad we took the tour. It was one of the highlights of our New England trip. Best regards.

We had a great "custom" Back Road Tour with Kelly. We went all through the back countryside of several little towns around Rutland VT and it was a great time to see the fall foliage. We had a chance to talk with a 94 year old Vermont farmer, Hugh Bromley, who was a genuine piece of Vermont to visit. Also, encountered 2 young men hunting with bows and rifles for bear who enlightened us on their hunt for a particular bear they had been tracking. The tour was enhanced by native Vermonter, Kelly, who was able to tell us history about the places we went that we would have not known on our own. The trip also included the Anderson Farm which had belted Galloway cows from Scotland - a very different looking breed. All in all we would take the trip again with Kelly.

Thanks for the tour that you treated me to last month. I am still talking to everyone about how interesting your tour idea is and how I saw lots of little things that I would have never seen on my own. One of the things was viewing the Belted Galaway cattle, being from an area where Herefords are King, I certainly never realized that there was a breed of cattle that could in bulk match or exceed the Herefords. I only wish there had been a little more sun to emphasis the beautiful fall colors in the countryside. The next day on your suggestion I went up to Killington to see the fantastic hay bale sculptures and that was certainly worth the trip. Thanks again and hope your enterprise continues to expand so you can retire from the P.O. and spend full time exposing people like me to the backroads of your beautiful state of Vermont.

Hi Kelly:
It was our first trip to Vermont and, without question, your wonderful tour of the backroads of Vermont was very special to us. You took the time to not only take us to such beautiful country scenes but, even more special, your own personal touch just made the countryside more meaningful. Without doubt, we would never have seen and enjoyed the "real" Vermont that you so aptly showed us. The hardwoods, the flowers, the quaint Vermont farms, the meadows against the mountains are just a few of the memories that we shall always treasure.
Kelly, the special note of kindness on your behalf was in returning the sunglasses that were left in a sandwich shop in downtown Rutland. We never thought we would see them again, but there they were, in our mailbox when we got back to South Carolina. All because of you. Your one of a kind.

My wife and I took your tour on Thursday, September 18, 2008. We are life-long New Englanders who enjoy nature and have seen much that the northeast has to offer in our 50 plus years. What your tour has to offer is quite different from what can be discovered through any other method that I can imagine.
The scenery, history, and local color you show your guests represents what rural life in a New England town is really like. We enjoyed the panoramic views of the rolling hills and mountains, the countryside farms, the historic buildings and structures and all the information you shared with us from a lifetime in the area. I am a history buff, my wife loves the countryside and farms. Your tour combines everything we love.
Many thanks and appreciation,

Hey Kelly!
Thanks so much. Had a wonderful time on your tour and have been gushing about it to everyone I meet. Like I was saying, folks should take your tour on their first day in Vermont! This helped me figure out what I wanted to do on the rest of my trip. Have a terrific weekend, and again, thanks so much for your hospitality and advice.
Take care,

Dear Kelly,
How to thank you! Last weekend's event with you in the driver's seat absolutely reflects the name of your enterprise - Vermont Backroad Tours! What an adventure for all of us. People are coming up to me and saying things like, "What's this I hear about some tour you went on?" . I appreciate all of the thought that you put into this, Kelly, for the group from the covered bridge to the farm to the sugar bush to the description of historic settings. Your passion for what your business offers is awesome.
Thank you, Kelly, for a truly memorable experience.

Hi Kelly,
Hans & I want to thank you again for the wonderful backroad tour. Like you said, our timing was perfect as the autumn color was in its glory and the weather was perfect for taking photos. I hope you enjoyed the ones we sent you.
What is so special about your tour is the information tid bits and stories you shared with us. Your friendliness and enthusiasm certainly added spice. Vermont is such a beautiful state from one end to the other because it is mostly rural, and so there are plenty of backroads to explore.
We highly recommend to anyone visiting Vermont in the Rutland area to take a Vermont Backroad Tour. It made my birthday and our 25th anniversary really special.
We wish you much success with your business, Kelly.

Dear Kelly,
Can't tell you how much we enjoyed the delightful covered bridge/sunset tour you arranged for us last week. You never really know what to expect when you book a tour, but the evening you designed for us and the lovely restaurant where we enjoyed dinner, far exceeded our expectations.
Being from New York, we're not used to such personal service, and it certainly was a pleasure spending time with you and seeing your corner of Vermont through your knowledgeable and obviously loving eyes.
All the best,

Dear Kelly,
Our Family went on your "Lost in Vermont" tour last summer and we had a wonderful time. My husband and I and our two kids (teenagers!) really enjoyed the tour - we had never been to Vermont before and the backroads tour was great. A clever combination of different sights with a stop or two to get up close to the river, a bridge and a waterfall - each one of us found something interesting to see and we even learned a thing or two!
If we ever get another opportunity to visit Vermont, we will definitely book another tour and we have told our friends that Vermont Backroads tour is a "must" for visitors to Vermont. Thanks for making our vacation so memorable. (We still proudly wear our T-shirts!)
Warm regards,
The Transue Family, Galloway, NJ

Hi Kelly
Thanks for your professionalism and easy-going attitude on our customized tour of Vermont breweries. My co-workers and I had a great time going from place to place, and we really appreciated your knowledge of the backroads. From now on, we will certainly refer anyone looking for a scenic Vermont tour to you.
Take care,

Dear Kelly,
Thank you for the magnificent tour you shared with us this past Memorial Day Weekend.
We appreciate the personalization and creativity that you put into the tour. The history and culture of Rutland. The Kingsley covered bridge over looking the mill river was incredible, the hike along the Appalachian trail and "surprise" adventure across the suspension bridge was exciting.
We enjoyed our three days in Vermont but the most memorable was your Vermont Backroad Tour. It was truly a journey.
Thank you again and we look forward to our next visit to Rutland Vermont and a Vermont Backroads Tour. Next time we will book the 3 1/2 hour tour.
Have a great summer.

If you’re traveling to Vermont over the late fall/ winter season, consider booking a Vermont Backroad Tour on your next visit. Some may think that there is nothing scenic after the foliage has peaked. Take one of our tours and you will discover the views that were hidden by the leaves from April to October.

Hi Kelly
Hope your first season was a good one. Your tour remains one of our most memorable activities from our vacation in the Rutland area.

Since we arrived home from our wonderful trip to Vermont, we have been telling our friends about your Vermont Backroad Tours. Getting off the main roads and sites to see the real Vermont was an education. Even if we had gotten on to those roads on our own, we would not have known what we were seeing.
Most people take you to see covered bridges, topside. What a wonderful experience to see how well they are constructed from below.
The trees had lost many of their leaves affording us wonderful vistas and yet there was still some color to provide highlights.
Thanks, Kelly, for your personal and interesting tour.

Dear Kelly,
Thank you for an awesome experience!!! Our Backroad Tour this past Saturday showed us stunning scenery, beautiful valleys, great heights, and the awesome colors of fall foliage season!!! Although we had just met, we felt as if you were our favorite country cousin, filling us in on the local lore, taking us to the best spots, and deftly defying the out-of-the-way hidden roads with your tour bus!!!
Thank you again, have a cozy winter, and we can't wait to visit you and beautiful Vermont again!!!

Now my goal is to make every Vermont Backroad Tour experience, one of the events on your visit to Vermont that will want to tell your friends about. I want you to feel so good about the money you invested on your Vermont vacation so that you will want to comeback again. If you only have two or three days to visit our state you need to get the most out of your time. I want you to come away feeling good about paying an off season rate for your lodging and getting peak season entertainment on a Vermont Backroad Tour.

Well, we made it back safe and sound to California. We had a fantastic time in Vermont, with your tour of the area being the highlight. Feel free to use us as very enthusiastic supporters of your tour. You have a fantastic combination of friendliness, knowledge and passion for the area and the specific work you do. We look forward to our next visit to Vermont, and, of course another of your GREAT tours.

Hi Kelly
I want to let you know how much we enjoyed your tour. We both had a marvelous time. I would recommend your tour to anyone who wanted to see your area the way it should be seen. As you know when we were there, the fall foliage was just starting to have a very little bit of color, but even at that, the views were incredible. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be during October when the leaves show their stuff. Again, thanks for the tour and if we ever find ourselves back in your area we will certainly look you up and book another tour with you.
