Experience a private Vermont Backroad Brewery Tour
Vermont is home to more breweries per capita than any other state, and Vermont Backroad Tours wants to show you and your friends some of them.
We offer two pre-made tours, the "Northern" and the "Eastern", but are always open to creating customized brewery tours to suit your idea of the 'perfect' brewery tour.
The "Northern Tour" will travel north up Route 7, with the first stop at Otter Creek Brewery in Middlebury. The "Eastern Tour" will travel east on Route 4 with the first stop at Long Trail Ale in Bridgewater. Each tour visits 4 breweries (click for specifics) and finishes the day with dinner at a either the Bobcat Cafe in Bristol (Northern tour) or the Peavine Restaurant in Stockbridge (Eastern tour).
Any part of the tour can be changed. Maybe you want to stop at only 3 breweries, or maybe you want to skip the dinner, or opt for lunch. Whatever you decide is what we'll do, because Vermont Backroad Tours knows the customer is always right (especially when they choose to book a tour with us!)
The price of this tour is $50.00 per person, minimum of 10 people per group.
Price includes transportation by our professional driver(s) on our Vermont Backroad Tours party buses. Most stops offer free samples of their beers. Driver gratuity and purchase of beer, snack food, souvenirs, or dinner on the last stop of the tour is not included in the price.
Tours are limited to 15 people per bus, although we may be able to offer two busses for larger (up to 30 person) groups.

Here is a testimonial from a customized brewery tour we did back in June of 2007:
Hi Kelly, Thanks for your professionalism and easy-going attitude on our customized tour of Vermont breweries. My co-workers and I had a great time going from place to place, and we really appreciated your knowledge of the backroads. From now on, we will certainly refer anyone looking for a scenic Vermont tour to you. Take care, Rachel H., Vermont
Vermont Backroad Tours is committed to making this a fun and safe event for everyone. We will ensure that everyone has a safe ride home. If we deem it necessary, we will at our discretion contact friends or family for pickup, or will deliver people back to their local home or hotel.
If part of your group lives along the planned tour route, we can arrange to pick them up on the way to the first stop on each tour.
