Why it's a bargain: A citation for “DUI” is very expensive (legal fees, loss of driving privileged, increases insurance rates, public embarrassment). Ask anyone and they will tell you being the “designated driver” is the absolute pits. When you consider the alternative, the cost of hiring Vermont Backroad Tours is such a bargain, you can’t afford not to!
Hire your own 'Sherpa': I was recently having dinner at a brew pub after touring my guests to 5 Vermont breweries throughout the afternoon. The group was discussing what a great time they had that day and how I let them enjoy each brewery. They especially appreciated how I let them decide how much time they needed but kept them focused on how much time was remaining to visit the number of breweries desired. It was then that Joe spoke up and said “Kelly, your like a brewery Sherpa!”
Main Entry: Sher•pa (noun)
Etymology: of Tibetan origin; akin to Tibetan (Central dialects) shārba, shārpo easterner, Sherpa, Date: 1847
A member of a Tibetan people living on the high southern slopes of the Himalayas in eastern Nepal and known for providing support for foreign trekkers and mountain climbers
...I immediately thought “What a nice compliment!”
What people are saying: They love it!
For example, here's one of our testimonials from a satisfied Party Bus customer:
Kelly, I just wanted to thank you for providing your bus for our day. Jim, Jimbo, Dr. Jim or DJ was great. We had such a wonderful time on Saturday. The bus was perfect to fit our munchies and coolers and was roomy enough for everyone. I would highly recommend, (already have) backroad tours to anyone who is listening. I picked up a brochure at the hotel before we left so I have that too. What a great idea you have come up with. Not only did you provide us with transportation, bus recommended a hotel nearby that was perfect for us. Thanks again and you will be hearing from us again in the future.
